Olivia Mae Hautala

Olivia Mae Hautala, age 9 of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer on Monday, May 18th, 2020. Olivia was a lover of animals, particularly her dog Gracie, and was involved in many activities including karate, swimming, and skiing. She also enjoyed going to school and spending time with her friends. Olivia had a true love for life, and her smile would light up the room when doing something she loved.

She is survived by her parents, Brett (Darcy Minette) Hautala and Erin (Jon Livingston) Hautala; sister, Madelyn; grandparents, Kathy Hautala, Jim Hautala, and Craig and Kathy Ernst; aunts and uncles, Chris and Sara Ernst, Brad (Nicole Stengle) Hautala; and many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ruth and Charles Johnson III, Pat and Hugh Hay, Char Wood, Ray Wood, Gunilla and Ernest Hautala; and great-great-grandma Mae Braunstein.

A memorial service will be held for Olivia at a later date, when all of her family and friends are able to join in celebrating her life.
