Norlinda (Linda) Aspelund

Norlinda (Linda) Barbara Aspelund, nee Karschnik, passed away on May 8, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

She is preceded in death by husband, Merlyn; parents, Ernest and Ester Karschnik; brother, Robert Karschnik; sister-in-law, Janice Haler.

Linda is survived by her five children, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Linda primarily raised her five children but also worked several odd jobs including as a waitress at the Holiday Inn, in the kitchen at school, and at Walmart, all in Mankato. Linda made friends very easily, loved country music and Elvis. Her favorite hobby was bowling, and those her knew her best were aware of her affection for Cadillacs.
