Survived by wife, Ardis; sons, Mark (Sharon) Fairchild, Paul (Raelene) Fairchild; son-in-law, Mark Caswell; grandchildren, Lisa (Steve) Scheurman, David Fairchild, Michael Fairchild, Carrie Mock, Ben Caswell, Amanda Harkins and Zachary Caswell; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Anna Scheurman, Andrew and Jacob Mock, and Liam Harkins; sisters, Mary Clark, Barbara Strope, Harriet Oien, Virginia (Donald) Day; brother, Donald (Judy) Fairchild; sister-in-law, Oma Fairchild; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Owned and operated Fairchild Service Station in Robbinsdale since 1962. Member of Westphal American Legion.

Interment Mound Cemetery.
