The oldest of three sisters, Nancy was born on August 31, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa to John and Dorothy Sullivan. As a child, her dad always taught her that she could do anything. The family moved to Rhode Island and Oregon before finally settling in Minnesota. She graduated from Wayzata High School, and attended college at the Florida Institute of Technology where she earned a degree in Mathematics. She had three sons with her ex-husband Mike Fedock. After working more than 35 years as a software engineer, she retired to her home in Minnetonka where she lived with her two cats, Zero and Ooyoo.
Nancy was a warm, joyful, friendly, generous person. She was the type of person who would strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. She loved to travel the United States and the world, especially to spend time with her children. Her travels took her around the world to places like Mexico, Canada, Sweden, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Hong Kong, England, and Scotland. She loved taking pictures and telling stories. Her lifelong fascination with mathematics was kindled at an early age. She had an intense curiosity and loved learning everything she could, especially geography, technology, and baseball. She studied maps in her free time and could always help you if you were lost. She was a meticulous record keeper and was a constant source of information and guidance for those around her. She was loved immensely by her family, friends, and community and she will be deeply missed.
Her family is holding a memorial visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023, with a celebration of life service at 4:00 pm, held at Gearty-Delmore - Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway Robbinsdale.
