Myrna Jean (Lehman) Chapman

Myrna ‘Jean’ Chapman of St. Michael passed away August 15, 2022 at age 85.  Jean was born May 1, 1937 in Jackson, MN to Dorman and Leone Lehman.  She graduated from Minnetonka High School in 1955 and worked at Deli Express in Eden Prairie for over 30 years.  Jean was a passionate artist who loved painting and making jewelry.    She enjoyed nature and everything outdoors, including camping at the North Shore, hiking, and turkey hunting.  She loved entertaining and was a fabulous cook, we will miss her tuna salad and Christmas cookies.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Deb) Chapman and Scott (Louise) Chapman; grandchildren, Ian and Corey Chapman; sisters, Mary Ann Schrupp and Linda (Robert) Christensen; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorman and Leone Lehman; stepmother, Pauline Lehman; former husband, George Chapman; brother-in-law, Al Schrupp.

Memorial Service 5 pm Thursday, August 25 at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. in Plymouth.  Visitation 1 hour prior to service.  Private Interment. A special thank you to the Mercy Hospital ICU staff for their care and compassion.

She will be forever in our hearts.
