Msgr. Stanleynec Sr

Msgr. Stanley J. Srnec, 98, of New Prague, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017.  Msgr. was ordained September 26, 1942 at the Cathedral of St. Paul, and was Pastor of the Church of St. Raphael, Crystal from 1970 to 1996.  He was a member of the Fr. William Blum Knights of Columbus Council.

He was preceded in death by parents, John and Mary; brother-in-law, Edwin Jirak; grand niece Stacy.

Msgr. is survived by his sister, Rosemary Jirak; niece, Kathleen (Steve) Kalina; nephews, Kevin (Laure) Jirak, John (Tammy) Jirak, Robert (ReNae) Jirak and Richard (Lynda) Jirak; 11 grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be after 9am.
