January 31, 1967 – August 26, 2020

Michael Joseph Paidar, age 53, of Maple Grove passed away on August 26, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Herman and Verna Deerberg & Joe and Esther Paidar. Survived by wife of 25 years, Julie; son, Matthew; daughter, Meghan; parents, Joe and Donna of Mechanicsville, IA; and sister, Susan (Darrell) Henricksen of Bettendorf, IA; and extended family and many friends.

Mike was a Fire Captain and Paramedic with St. Paul Fire.

He was proud to be a career firefighter and to serve his community.

Visitation Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Harriet Island Park, 200 Dr Justus Ohage Blvd, St. Paul, MN 55107.

Memorial service Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Harriet Island Park, 200 Dr Justus Ohage Blvd, St. Paul, MN 55107.

The visitation and memorial service will be outside. Please park in either north lot of Harriet Island Road, or the south lot near the Wigington Pavilion. For directions to Harriet Island Click Here

Private Interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the Paidar Family requests all memorial donations be directed to the St. Paul Fire Foundation to help in their missions to promote the health and wellness of all firefighters and specifically to combat occupational cancer amongst firefighters, assist families already in that fight, and lessen the chances of current and future firefighters getting cancer.
