Eiden, Michael Gerard

Age 66, passed away peacefully at HCMC Friday, June 23, 2023. His family will remember him as kind and thoughtful of others; to live sustainably was important to him. He loved good coffee, organic gardening, and his dogs and his birds. Michael grew up in New Hope, MN, the fourth of six children, and lived in Minneapolis for most of his adult life.

He is survived by his loving mom Annette Eiden, siblings Cindy Nygaard (Joe Behan), Mary Johnson (Greg), Dan Eiden (Treasure), Tom (Kathy) and John (Natalie), and many nieces and nephews and cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his beloved dad John Eiden, to whom Michael provided kind and consistent companionship and care during his last months.

Thank you to his cousins Claudia, Leslie and Monica for compassionate care during his last hours, and special thank you to Joy, who provided a comforting and caring home environment for Michael over the past few years.
