Michael A. Dudinsky age 77 originally from Alvarado, MN, and residing in Maple Grove, MN, passed away unexpectedly on January 9th, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Anoka with family and friends by his side.
Born on April 9th, 1946, in Grand Forks, ND, Mike moved to Minneapolis in 1968 after finishing vocational technical school and playing basketball in Wahpeton, ND. Most of his summers were spent making the trip from the cities to Lake of the Woods, chasing walleyes until hunting season where he could be found in Grygla, MN looking for whitetails. Later he would join his son and grandsons in Alaska hunting caribou and moose or fishing for salmon and halibut. Another of his favorite activities was the annual Sportsman Retreat in Iowa where he shared his passions of hunting, shooting and faith. Although forever challenged with technology, he could fix or build almost anything and was always helping friends and family with projects.
He is survived by his sons Todd and Chad as well as his brother David, four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Joesph and Delores, as well as his brothers Joseph Jr. (Butch). and Thomas Dudinsky.
