age 36 of Champlin, beloved mother, daughter, sister and aunt passed away unexpectedly on October 31st, 2023. She will be forever in the hearts of her devoted daughter Rayna Zuidmulder, parents Richard & Michelle Cummings, brothers Christopher Cummings & Nicholas (Camille) Cummings along with many other close relatives and friends. After graduating from Champlin Park High School, Melissa attended beauty college becoming a licensed cosmetologist and stylist. She enjoyed a successful career in cosmetology for over 16 years. Melissa had a great laugh, a gracious heart, a warm smile and loved to hang out with friends and family. Her greatest joy in life was being a mom and spending time with her daughter and best friend Rayna. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, November 20, at Church of St. Vincent de Paul 9100 93rd Ave. N. Brooklyn Park. Visitation one hr. prior at church and 2-6 PM Sunday, November 19, at Gearty-Delmore Chapel 15800 37th Ave. N. Plymouth. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Rayna’s education fund.
