Johnson, Maxine "Macky," "Mimi," Age 94 of Eden Prairie, formerly of St. Louis Park passed away from pneumonia Nov. 23, 2018. Preceded in death by husband, Charles; sisters, Lena Boyum (Hagen) and Vivian Warren; brothers, Arne, Odin, and Jerome Myhro; niece, Judy Siegel; nephew, Andrew Hagen. Survived by many loving family members. Mimi was born in New Rockford, ND to Albert and Belinda (Lamen) Myhro. She moved to Minneapolis in her early twenties, and found employment at Schlampp Furs. A short time later, she began working as a secretary at the Star Tribune. Her wit and intellect were quickly noticed. She raised in ranks to Executive Secretary to the Publisher, and enjoyed a lengthy career. It was during this time that she reconnected and married her soulmate, Charlie. They married on Christmas Eve, 1965 in Las Vegas. She left the newspaper to help Charlie establish Johnson Business Form Company. They ran this successful business until retirement. Together, they spent time rescuing animals for Pet Haven, Inc., in which Charlie was President. Some of Mimi's favorite memories were traveling cross country in their motor home and playing bridge. Most recently, Mimi enjoyed going on weekly adventures trying new restaurants with family. Mimi is a proud member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. She will be greatly missed for many reasons; including, her love of life and her memory/story telling.  Memorial service Thursday, Dec. 27 th , 11 AM with visitation starting at 10:30 AM at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Avenue So., Mpls.  Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred Mount Olivet Chancel Choir or the Cathedral of the Pines Youth Camp.
