Matthew Wayne Morrow

Matthew Wayne Morrow, lovingly known as Matt, was born on October 4, 1988, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. On October 9, 2023, he passed away in Crystal, Minnesota. Matt is survived by his beloved family, including his father, Mark Morrow; mother, Kathy Morrow; sister, Heather Brown; brother-in-law, Tim Brown; and his cherished nephew, Beckett Brown. He also leaves behind many extended family members and great friends who will always remember him.

Matt Morrow was an exceptional uncle, brother, son, and friend. He dedicated nine years of his life to the Ag Services and Oilseeds division of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), where he made a significant impact. Matt's career with ADM took him on a remarkable journey, starting in Des Moines, Iowa. This foundation led to international opportunities in Mexico City, Mexico, where he pioneered new strategic destination markets, and finally to Valdosta, Georgia. Feeling a strong desire to move back home and be closer to family and friends, he began working with his Uncle Ron as a futures broker, utilizing his expertise to develop essential risk management tools for producers and end users.  Most recently, Matt had joined Scoular, a company providing agricultural supply chain solutions.

Although his accomplishments were many through both school and his career, his biggest accomplishment was saving his big sister Heather’s life with a bone marrow transplant.

A proud alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he graduated in 2011, Matt was not only a professional success but also a passionate golfer and a devoted companion to his five-year-old bloodhound, Yoshi. He enjoyed the game of golf, time spent with family & friends and cherished the time spent with his loyal canine friend.

Matt Morrow's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his dedication, his warm and friendly nature, and the significant contributions he made to his profession. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
