Marydell Blanch (Zellmer) Zane

Marydell Zane (Zellmer) died peacefully at home on April 16, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.

Marydell was preceded in death by parents Harry and Rose Zellmer, siblings Harry (Jack) and Doris (Davey) Zellmer, Betty and Harold Eaton, Marie (Pat) and Donald Lind, Phillip Zellmer.

She is survived by daughters Deborah Wheatley, Teresa Foy, and Joyce Zane. Siblings James and Ann Marie Zellmer, Tom and Jackie Zellmer, Mary Zellmer, and Theresa and Richard Clendenin. Many nieces and nephews. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

After many years of working as a Secretary/Office Manager Marydell was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and retired from that. She then went on to help her sister Theresa with her inhome daycare where she became an honorary grandma to many children.

Marydell was also known to many as Mimi or Aunt Mia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be April 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. At Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4087 West Broadway Ave N, Robbinsdale. Visitation will be one hour before service.

Inurnment at Gethsemane Cemetery Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital . After being diagnosed with cancer, this charity became even more important to her.
