Mary was born in West Bend, WI. She spent her youth in Duluth, MN before moving to Minneapolis to attend the University of MN. She was a resident of Crystal at the time of her death. Survived by daughter, Ellen L. Vannucci (Pat Schmid); nieces and nephews, James A. Fitzgerald, Colleen M. Fitzgerald Bunn; Jeffery L. Fitzgerald, Bette Fitzgerald. Preceded in death by parents, Ethel and James Fitzgerald; brother, James Fitzgerald and his wife, Mary Ellen; sister, Ellen J. Fitzgerald; nephew, John P. Fitzgerald. Memorial service 11:00 AM Friday, January 4 at Valley Community Presbyterian Church, 3100 N. Lilac Dr., Golden Valley; visitation one hour before. Private interment Lakewood. IN lieu of flowers, Memorials preferred to The Animal Humane Society.
