Mary B Schabel

Born Mary Beth Schabel on August 19, 1961 at 8:17am in St. Cloud, MN

Transferred from this world on December 17, 2023 at 5:37pm at home in Plymouth, MN

Mary loved the Island of Maui and (unofficially) changed her name to Malia – Hawaiian for Mary, after we got married there, on the beach in 2001.

Malia was a Connector – she prided herself in how she could connect people with opportunities and relationships. She often spoke about the many couples she “married” !

Astrology – Mary couldn’t get enough of it!

Leo (birth sign) – loved luxury and the fine things, love to travel, nice restaurants, food, etc!

Virgo (rising sign) – precise, wanted things done her way (which was always the right way!)

Scorpio (moon sign) – secretive, held information close to her heart. If you shared something with Mary,

you can be assured that she held it private and special.

She loved Prince, the Partridge Family, and  ABBA – she was my Dancing Queen!

Proceeded in death by her father Ervin Schabel and survived by her mother Doris (Rieland) Schabel and brother Mike (Jenny) Schabel and numerous loving relatives.

Please take a moment to breathe and relax as Mary settles into her new residence!

Mary wants a “Celebration of Life” experience for her friends and family and this will be in her birthday month next year.

She has instructed me to notify everyone about this so look for an invitation!
