Mary Agnes Koltes

Mary Agnes Koltes, Age 77, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully July 8, 2016. Mary was born in St. Paul on January 3, 1939, to Werner and Agnes Koltes of St. Paul.

Mary's life was anything but ordinary, and she lived it boldly. Mary was a sister to Skip, Greg, Laurie and Joanne. Her adventurous spirit to live made for an interesting beginning to her story and produced a beautiful family. Mary raised two children, Denise and Scott, instilling in them the same passion for life and love for animals she brought to the world.

Mary lived most of her life in the Twin Cities and called the Minnetonka lakes area home. She loved living near the water and felt most at peace around the lake. Mary was a R.N. at Mission Hills Nursing Home in Golden Valley for the majority of her career. She found much reward in her work as a nurse and was dedicated to caring for residents experiencing varied levels of physical and behavioral health issues.

Mary was preceded in death by parents, Werner and Agnes Koltes; brother, Skip Koltes and son, Scott Duffy-Koltes.

Mary is survived by daughter, Denise (Steve) Paskach; grandchildren, Chris (Mary Ann) Paskach, Kelly (Matt) Bollis, Claire Paskach, Nick (Amy) Harrison and William (Kelly) Harrison; great grandchildren, Maxwell Paskach, Hannah, Audrey and William Harrison; siblings, Laurie (Robert) Koltes, Joanne (Cliff) Koltes-West and Greg Koltes; nieces, Katie (Mohammad) Tranmer-Khan and Jennifer (Adam) Tranmer; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

Prayer Service at 7 pm.

Visitation one hour prior to Mass. Private interment Resurrection Cemetery.
