Mary A. Haight

Mary A. Haight, age 77 of Chaska, passed away peacefully in her home May 11, 2024.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Amy (Jess Gordon) Norberg, Ann (Matt) Lowy; grandchildren, Evan Lowy and Adrienne Lowy; siblings Bill (Barb) Haight, David Haight, Suzanne Haight, Tommy (Nico) Haight, and Mike Haight; brother-in-law Mike Rhode, and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Leona Haight, her sister Nancy Rhode, and her sister-in-law Barb (David) Haight.

Mary was born January 14, 1947 to Bill and Leona Haight, in Minneapolis, MN. The fifth of seven children, she grew up in St. Louis Park, MN. She began her nursing career at the Anoka State Hospital, before transitioning to the Anoka-Ramsey School District where she spent the majority of her career as beloved school nurse. After retiring from the district, she moved into the field of home-healthcare working with medically fragile adults. She raised two beautiful daughters and adored being a grandmother. As a devoted Catholic, she lived her life being an example of charity and love.

Mass of Catholic Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18^th, 2024, preceded by an hour of visitation at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 145 Jersey Ave S, Golden Valley, MN 55426. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
