Mary Hiatt Gottier

Mary Hiatt Gottier died peacefully on October 27, 2015. She was 79. Mary was born on February 4, 1936 in Rome City, Indiana to her parents. Earl and Ethel Hiatt. She was married to Richard C. Gottier and together they enjoyed a wonderful life together in Minnesota and in Florida. She lived her life with energy, kindness and adventure. She was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Always willing to tell a story, listen and provide advice. She was eager for learning, fun and loved to dance. After her husband passed away, she so enjoyed her Florida friends, who provided her with such beautiful companionship, meaningful support, fun and laughter. Mary is survived by family: Penny, Zachary and Mary Fena, Diane Shaw and Richard Gottier. Also very special nieces, nephews and dear friends. Along with her parents and husband, Richard she is preceded in death by her son-in-law Gary Fena, Grandson, Joshua Richard Gottier Fena and brothers: William, Dallas, James, Virgil, Dale, John and sister, Betty. A private memorial ceremony will take place in Minnesota and in Florida and she will be buried at Resurrection Cemetery, Shorewood, MN.
