She is survived by husband, Larry; daughters, Lisa (Michael) Schmit, Natalie (Thierry) Choserot, Kim (Lee) Winans and Melanie (Dan) Lindahl; 13 grandchildren, Christine, Luke, Rebecca and Noah Schmit, Dorian, Valentin and Veronica Choserot, Andrew, Meghan, Matthew and Charlie Winans, Ethan and Ella Lindahl; brothers, John (Cheryl) Beckey, James (Eileen) Beckey and Tom (Patricia) Beckey; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dolores Beckey.
Mary was a committed and faithful wife, mother, & friend. Her grandchildren and pets brought her much enjoyment. She was a humble woman who was strong in her faith and full of life and love. She was as naturally beautiful on the inside, as on the outside, and all the way through. She enjoyed entertaining, was very hospitable & social, and was genuinely a joy to be around.
Mary spent countless hours as a substitute teacher and volunteer at her kids school, church, and special needs school. She was a Campfire Girls leader and coached various sports teams for her daughters. She was also a part of the Patroness Society and was a kitchen helper at De La Salle High School. Mary enjoyed the last 20 years wintering in El Mirage, Arizona with her beloved husband Larry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Church of the Sacred Heart in Robbinsdale, MN.
