Finney, Mary C. of North Minneapolis passed away surrounded by family on May 18, 2019, her 96th birthday. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Glen Style; and her brothers, Rodney, James, Robert, Gerald, William, Charles, Jerome and Vincent; and her nephew and Godson, Thomas Sullivan. She is survived by her sisters, Sister Margaret Clare Style OSF of Rochester, Elizabeth (Liz) Sullivan of Minneapolis and Catherine Olson of Brainerd. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mary has been an active member of Ascension Parish for over 50 years, assisting with funeral luncheons, maintaining the gardens and member of the Rosary Society. Mary retired from Colormaster Printing Company as their bookkeeper in 1985 after many years. Her hobbies and activities included gardening, golfing and playing bridge, painting and quilting. She also volunteered at Catholic Eldercare. She was a devoted aunt and “second mother” to Joe and Tom Sullivan.
Funeral Mass Saturday (June 8, 2019) 11 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM at Ascension Catholic Church, 1723 Bryant Ave. No., Mpls. Interment Monday (June 10), 11 AM at Calvary Cemetery, Fairmont, MN.
Memorials preferred to Ascension Parish or Catholic Eldercare Memory Care Unit.
