Mary Lou Dahlin

Mary Lou Dahlin,
age 86, formerly of Brooklyn Center passed away May 17, 2017.

She is preceded in death by parents, Walter and Frieda Gates; brothers, Walter Gates Jr. and Robert Gates and son-in-law, Tom Lauzon.

She is survived by children, John (Ruth), Robert (Judy), Diane Lauzon, Jeff, Laura (Jim) Schroer and Kurt (Angela); 10 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Time slowly took away her dexterity and mobility, but her optimism never faltered.  Given the medley of blessings received, burdens she was forced to carry, and so many hard knocks absorbed, Mary Lou somehow withstood it all with dignity and grace.  Her ever present "smileys" in the face of such challenges are a light hearted testament to the strength within her that comes from God.  Now her hard work is done and her journey is complete.  She deserves to stand tall and proud.
