Martha Marie Smith

Martha was raised in Utica/Shelby Township, Michigan. She graduated from Utica High School in 1997 and Michigan State University in 2000. Martha's career was spent in Merchandising Management as a retail buyer and in product development and sales; she spent 18 years working in wholesale children's shoes.

Martha was amiable, energetic, spiritual, athletic and career-driven. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at MSU and a member of numerous professional affiliations in the shoe market.

She was preceded in death by her brother Matthew Russell in 2019.

Martha is survived by her parents, Russell Norman and JoAnn Smith; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Her memory burns brightly in our hearts forever.

Let Perpetual Light shine upon her, and may she rest in peace, in the arms of our Lord. Amen.
