Mark Christopher Fliss
Mark passed away on October 22, 2018; he was born September 20, 1958 in Milwaukee, WI.
Preceded in death by his father, James. J. Fliss.
Survived by mother, Constance Slanga (Jerry); the mother of his children, Elizabeth Wick; children, Hannah Jones (Justin), Joseph; grandchild, Aubrey; siblings, James Jr. (Sue), Thomas (Linda) and Karen Quinby (David), as well as nieces and nephews.
Mark moved to Minnesota during his high school years, and made the area his home. He studied mechanical engineering and worked for several plumbing and heating contractors until health issues prevented him from continuing with his employment. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing his guitar and card games. Several years ago he became a resident of the Presbyterian Homes in Spring Park where they lovingly cared for Mark. He also spent time at Sojourn Adult Day Care. He greatly enjoyed participating in their concerts and productions.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 30 th at 11:00am at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 155 County Rd. 24, Medina, MN, with a visitation beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow the service at Holy Name Cemetery.
