Marinda C. Hoops

Marinda Caroline Hoops passed away on March 19, 2021.

Marinda was born in Asuncion Paraguay on March 15, 1993. Her birth name was Pamela Chaparro, she was adopted at 7 months old by William D. Hoops, Sr and Diana Moore Hoops. Marinda had a complicated medical history including Lupus SLE and SMA Syndrome. Marinda's grandpa played U of MN Gopher Football and she could sing the school rouser by the time she was 3 years old. Marinda could draw beautifully, she and her sister Katie (a chef) talked about opening a restaurant someday. But Katie died in 2009 and now Marinda will be buried with her sister. Marinda was the youngest of 5 in the Hoops family. Marinda loved her family very much, and we treasured her.

Visitation at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel in Plymouth will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 6 to 7pm. A graveside service will be at Grand-View Park Cemetery in Hopkins on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11am.

Instead of flowers, Marinda's family requests donations be made to the Lupus Foundation of America and Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome Research Awareness and Support.
