Marilyn J. Johnson
age 87, of Scottsdale, AZ formerly of Minneapolis passed away peacefully on January 15th, 2020.
Marilyn graduated from Hamline University in 1953 with a degree in education. She devoted over 20 yrs. to teaching elementary children in both Seattle, WA & Warsaw, IN. Upon retiring from teaching, Marilyn choose a new career in real estate. She was a real estate agent with Better Homes & Garden for over 15 yrs.
Survived by children & their spouses, Mark (Deb) of Phoenix, AZ., Bruce (Holly) of Ft Wayne, IN. & Nancy (Tom) Sarkis of Maple Grove, MN; grandchildren, Ross, Julie, Autumn, Kyle, Laura, Alexandra & Mitchell along with 5 great grandchildren; brother, Merle (Carolyn) Knox of Baird, TX.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ken Johnson of 56 years and her son, Paul Eric Johnson.
Funeral Service Monday, January 27th at 10 am at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Road 101, Maple Grove with visitation at 9am. Interment at Ft Snelling National Cemetery.
