Marilyn Lundberg Boyce
Marilyn Lundberg Boyce, age 86, formerly of Golden Valley, was reunited with the love of her life, Tom Boyce, on Oct 3, 2020, after enduring a struggle with Alzheimer’s.
Preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Harry Lundberg; husbands, Tom Boyce and John Solstad; brother, Donald Lundberg and sister, Barbara Cunningham.
She is survived by daughters, Karen Boyce, Lori Thomsen (Rob), Patti Leaf (Kris); grandchildren, Tom, Charlie, Drake, Sophie, Eva and Max.
Marilyn enjoyed her career as a nurse, bringing comfort to others, working at U of MN Hosp. and Chapel View Nursing Home. Her bright, positive and kind attitude touched everyone. Her faith and family were very important to her. The family wishes to thank Arbor Lakes Senior Living, Brighton Hospice and Park Nicollet for their loving care.
A memorial service is planned for 10 AM on Thursday, August 19th with visitation beginning at 9 AM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Road 101, Maple Grove. She will be buried with her husband Tom at Ft. Snelling Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Assn.
The service will be live-streamed at www.lordoflife.org/celebrationoflife and also available to watch within 24 hours of the service and will be available for at least 60 days.
