Marianne E. (Terway) Schoenecker

Age 90, of Edina, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022, in Hopkins, MN. Marianne is survived by sons Patrick (Ann) & Paul (Liz) Schoenecker; daughter Jean (Michael) Thompson; grandchildren Abigail, Molly (Jake), Michael, James, Claire, Rachel, Kristin, Sonja, and Gretchen; brother Art Terway, and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.  Marianne was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Robert, daughter Judy, and parents Rudolph & Marie Terway. Marianne was eager to be reunited with her sweetie pie, Bob, since his passing on November 30, 2021. Marianne had a quiet strength and never wavered from her humble, no-nonsense approach to life. She was an exceptional wife, mother, mother-in-law, and sister, but her true calling was being a grandma. Her nine grandchildren adored her and will miss her beyond words. Marianne  was an avid gardener and spent countless hours tending to the fruits and veggies that fed her family for a lifetime. Marianne also enjoyed sewing, canning, collecting angels, and spending quiet time with Bob.  Visitation Sunday, June 5 4-6 PM at Gearty Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave S.  Mass of Christian Burial  Monday, June 6, 11 AM at the Church of the Holy Family, 5900 W. Lake St., St. Louis Park. Luncheon to follow. After the luncheon, interment at Resurrection Cemetery. There is no visitation at church prior to Mass
