Marian I. Capitola
Marian was born July 1, 1926 to Joseph and Martha Waselak in Northeast Minneapolis. She graduated from Vocational High School after studying to become a seamstress, which became her life long career and passion. Marian married the love of her life, George Capitola on September 14, 1946. Together they raised two children.
Marian was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Family was very important to her and she was never one to complain. When asked how she was doing, her famous response was "I'm OK".
She was preceded in death by husband, George; sister, Josephine Gilbert (Walter).
Marian is survived by sons, Robert (Sherrie) and Laurence (Susan); grandchildren, Nicole, Amy, Lisa, Michelle and Katie; great grandchildren, Hannah, Parker, Blake, Nicholas, Keagan, Stella, Scarlett, Liam and Hudson; brother, Joseph (Barbara) Waselak; and many nieces and nephews.
