Marguerite Ann Burke

Marguerite Ann Burke, age 69, of Robbinsdale, passed away surrounded by immediate family on December 9, 2021.

Preceded in death by parents Leo and Marguerite (Peggy) Schultz; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Cindy Schultz. Survived by husband of thirty-eight years, Lee Burke, son David (Suzanne) Burke; daughter Catherine (Fernando) Arellano; brothers Leo Schultz Jr. and Thomas Schultz; and grandchildren, Wesley and Andrew Burke and Xavier Arellano.

Marguerite was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. She was a kind-hearted and trusted friend to many. She was dedicated to her Catholic Faith and served the St Margaret Mary’s church community since childhood. Marguerite enjoyed volunteering her time for 30 years through Catholic Engaged Encounter with her husband, and at St. Margaret Mary’s, especially as a lector and Eucharistic minister, and with the Holiday Bazaar and Meals on Wheels. Marguerite loved children and through her work with the Boys Club in Minneapolis, and running a home daycare for many years, she shared her love, compassion and patience to many young ones that were lucky to have her care for them. In 2020, she retired from her office job at Food Perspectives and had filled her time with crafting, reading and gardening. Marguerite enjoyed family gatherings, visits with friends and time at the cabin on Maple Lake near Sauk Center, MN.
