Mom, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother who was loved very much, passed away peacefully 3/8/2016, after a long illness. Born in St. Paul, MN on 1/24/1931.

Preceded in death by parents, George & Veronica Barich; brother, George Barich Jr.; former husband of 32 years, Otto Christensen.

Survived by daughters, Jeannie Kratzer, Lynn (Don) Watson, Nancy Christensen and Suanne Christensen; grandchildren, Eric (Jennifer) O’Link, Muir (Katlyn), Kate and Mathew Watson; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Adeline and Mathias O’Link; 2 nephews and 2 nieces.

Loved music, art, books, airplanes & flying, nature, adventure, travel, biking, cross-country skiing, camping and her family. Graduate of John Marshall High School, St. Paul, 1948, U of MN in 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Industrial Arts in 1979. Girl Scout Leader, active in the Audubon Society, and Colonel in the Commemorative Air Force. Was a Real Estate Agent with Edina Realty until retirement. She believed in never giving up when the going got tough, standing up for what you believe in and promoting the arts as important to a balanced, healthy life.
