Hagberg, María del Rosario (Charo)

Age 77, of Plymouth. Survived by son Kristofer Hagberg; grandchildren, Bentley & Delaney; sisters, Jesús Lange and Mona Marquette; many nieces, nephews and friends. María was born in Ica, Perú. She adored children and was a preschool teacher. After moving to the U.S. in the ‘70s, María studied cake decorating and spent many years working for Red Owl and McGlynn’s in their bakeries. Following the inception of the HomeBase Childcare Program in the Wayzata School District, María returned to her true passion – working with kids - and spent over 20 years there before retiring to take care of her grandchildren. María was a talented artist, avid crafter, had the biggest heart, and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, 5/31 at the Church of St. Mary of the Lake, 105 N. Forestview Lane, Plymouth. Interment Parker’s Lake Cemetery. Visitation 1 hr. before Mass at church. Lunch to follow service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
