Luella T. (Tieszen) Harder age 89, of Plymouth, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 1, 2020 due to complications of Covid19.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Tieszen; brother, Edwin (Shirley) Tieszen; sister, Tillie Quiring; sister-in-law, Peggy Stoesz; 14 nieces and nephews and their families.
Preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Harder; brother, Harold Stoesz; brother & sister-in-law, John and Evelyn Stoesz; brother-in-law, Richard Quiring; and nephew, Marc Quiring.
She was born in Mountain Lake, MN, moved to the Twin Cities for Business College. She married Les November 24, 1973.
She had been an accountant at Northwest Bank, member of Toastmasters, and served on various boards and committees. Luella and Les were long term members of New Hope Church in New Hope, MN. They enjoyed working with their church’s children’s ministries. She was creative and loved to sew clothing, costumes for the church children’s plays, quilting, etc.
She and her husband Les enjoyed serving with SOWER Ministries (Servants On Wheels Ever Ready), traveling, hiking, cross country skiing and camping.
A private graveside service will be held. A celebration of Luella’s life will be held at New Hope Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to New Hope Children’s Ministries is preferred.
