Lori was born April 9, 1961 with a loving and joyful heart. Her greatest treasure, her son, she raised via strength and adventure. Always giving and deeply thoughtful. Her spirit was released on Dec. 12, 2024.
Travis Oien shall host an Open House Memorial Celebration for his mother on Sunday, 1/12/25 from 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. at 12110 61st Avenue North Plymouth, MN 55442.
The unexpected loss of Lori reminds us how fragile life can be and how valuable our time is with one another. Be intentional with your interactions, care with kindness, listen more, show love in thoughtful ways, laugh and tell stories, create art and comfortable spaces, give a good squeeze and tell them all that you love them! Lori treated all of us this way.
Lori lived with genuine grace and kindness with gifts and forgiveness abound, despite the unfair adversity she often faced. Though she pondered them, she did not complain - she sought higher levels of understanding and held great wisdom and strength. She was a best friend to the end, a devoted mother and grandmother, a child of God, a woman. A beautiful, loving and valuable woman.
Recognize the love she has shown you and what you're supposed to learn.
Cremation was Lori's wish; as a veteran, her ashes rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
"The best in me hailed the best in you ~ our being friends was always God's Plan!"
