Loretta T. (Murphy) Lenton

Loretta T. (Murphy) Lenton, age 80, of Maple Grove, formerly of Robbinsdale, passed away Sat., Sept. 3, 2016.

Loretta loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed entertaining, playing cards and cooking.  Loretta was a devout Catholic and had a zest for life.

Preceded in death by husband, Chuck; infant daughter, Theresa; sister, Madonna; brother, Loren.

She is survived by children, Jim (Lisa), Tom (Carol), Rick, Nancy (Tim) Cogswell and Maryann Lenton; grandchildren, Patrick (Sarah) Lenton, Sarah (Kyle) Knudson, Megan Finke, Michael Lenton, Maria Lenton and Jason Bacon; great granddaughter, Aubrey Lenton; brother, William Murphy; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Friday, September 9 at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 41st and Hubbard Ave N., Robbinsdale, with interment following in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm, with a Prayer Service at 7, at Gearty Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, and again one hour prior to Mass Friday AT CHURCH.

Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society or to Catholic Eldercare.

Prayer Service at 7pm.

Visitation after 9am AT CHURCH. Interment following at Gethsemane Cemetery.
