On Monday, October 3, 2022, Loretta K. Hagan of Annandale, beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 75.

She was preceded in death by parents, Woodrow and Catherine Johnson; brother, Frank Johnson; and sister, Karen Utes.

Loretta was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School, class of 1965. She raised her family in Maple Grove while working at IPTCI Bearings for 30 years as a purchasing manager.

Loretta had an adventurous spirit and a love of beauty and nature. She was always planning her next trip and had fond memories of her travels to Europe as a young woman, adventures in Japan for business, and exploring the United States and Mexico with family and friends. She hiked in all 66 of the MN State Parks and the Superior Hiking Trail on Minnesota’s North Shore. When she wasn’t traveling, she was enjoying nature in her backyard tending to her gardens.

Loretta cherished her friends and loved spending time with family. Whether she was cheering on the sidelines at her grandsons’ sporting events, enjoying girls’ nights, playing card games with friends, or having dinner with her cousins, she always brought a cheerful smile, her sense of humor, and lots of love for whoever she was spending time with.

Loretta is survived by her loving sons, Casey and Tim (Becky) Hagan; grandsons, Joel Gysland, Henry and Eli Hagan; sisters, Connie (Gary) Jung and Lisa Therres; brother-in-law, Del (Gloria) Utes; sister-in-law, Patti Rinne-Johnson; many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11 AM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. Visitation one hour before.
