Lois June Annett, age 99, of Bloomington, passed away on August 27, 2021. She was born on June 28, 1922, in Anoka County, where her family farmed. Lois attended and graduated from Central High School. Following graduation, she proudly served as a member of the US Navy in WWII, stationed at that time at The Great Lakes Naval Station.
During her time in the service, she met and fell in love with Clifford Annett, a Navy man himself. The two were married on June 5, 1944 and would later have three children. When she wasn’t spending time with her beloved family, Lois enjoyed quilting, bowling, golf and attending church services at Atonement Lutheran in Bloomington. Volunteering was also important to her, as she donated her time to several organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Martin Luther Manor and Bloomington Elementary Schools.
Lois was preceded in death by husband, Clifford Annett and mother, Frances Nelson.
Survived by 3 children, William (Margie) Annett, Nancy (Bob) Grant and Tom Annett; 8 grandchildren, Joe, Richard, Paul, William, Heather, Robert, Eric, and Shelly; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
