LeRoy Duane Gall, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024. He enjoyed sailing, biking and travelling to all 50 States. Being water baptized in the Jordan River, while on a trip to Israel, was a special event that stood out. LeRoy served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years serving 3 of those years in Europe and Africa.
After his military service LeRoy worked for GE in San Francisco. During his time visiting with a GE customer, Lee sensed a blind employee would have trouble trying to order laminate products from the GE distribution order catalogs. Lee contacted the Lighthouse for the blind in San Francisco requesting assistance to translate GE’s complete laminated products list into Braille.
Outside of work, Lee was active in his church teaching Sunday school and working with the singles group, volunteered with Meals on Wheels, the Salvation Army, and the last two years Lee became interested in putting puzzles together.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, John and Caroline Gall; two sisters, Lillian Gebhardt, Ardella Justice; and four brothers, Ervin Edwin Wilbert and Norman Gall.
