Leontine "Hon" L. Torkelson

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Roy; infant son, Johnny; sisters, Mary Margaret Cain and Evelyn Doyle; brothers, Earl, Donald and Thomas Laughlin.

She is survived by her loving children, Thomas (Anne Taylor) Torkelson, Tim (Char) Torkelson, Patricia (Peter) Boe, Theresa Engelhart, Terrence Torkelson and Theodore Torkelson; grandchildren, Kyle, Daniel, Beau, Ryan, Andrew, Breanna, Emily, John, Luke, Gretchen and Anna Marie; great-granddaughter, Avery.

Mom treasured her Catholic faith, it was her source of strength and joy in life and comfort in death.  She loved her Irish heritage; celebrated it with pride and ceremony.  Everyone who knew her heard her say there were only two kinds of people, “The Irish and those who wished they were”.  She fought the good fight and kept the faith.  God Bless you Mom, we love you.
