Leona Agnes Kluck

Leona A. Kluck (Thibodeau), age 84 of Corcoran passed away peacefully on 3/24/2021 surrounded by her family.

Survived by husband, Kenny; daughters, Lisa (Daryl) Kral, Nancy (Dean) Hansen; son, John (Dana) Kluck; grandchildren Sara, Lucas & Natalie; sister, Lilly Emery.

Preceded in death by parents, William & Julia Thibodeau; brother & sister-in-law, Henry (Hank) & Marvel Thibodeau; sister & brother-in-law, Hellen & Norbert (Nubbs) Dehn; brother-in-law, Charles (Chuck) Emery.

Leona was born February 17, 1937. She graduated from Rockford High in 1956. She met Kenny at Lake Sarah Ballroom in 1953 and later married in 1958 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Corcoran. They built their home in 1968 outside of Corcoran where they raised their three kids and where Leona remained up to her final days. Leona and Kenny enjoyed 63 wonderful years of marriage. Throughout her life she worked as a caterer and was a cook for the Rockford School District for many years. Leona's interests included family, gardening and taking care of her flowers. Her moon flowers and peonies were her favorite.

Leona was the kindest, sweetest, most caring woman you'd ever meet. She put everyone else before her own needs. We are going to miss her so much. She will be forever in our hearts.
