Lawrence "Monty" Carlson

Lawrence Lamont “Monty” Carlson age 85 of Crystal, passed away Feb 17.

Survived by wife Barbara A.; daughter Ceil (Steve) Strauss; sons Kevin (Francine) Carlson, Kit Carlson, Tim Carlson and Terry George (Anne) Carlson; daughter Vicki (Mike) Nelson; step-son Dan (Mary Jo) LaFond; 13 grandchildren, 1 step-grandson and 7 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by first wife Sheila; parents Lawrence H & Rosalie Carlson.

Monty was a career veteran of the U.S. Army and the MN Army National Guard.  He was a teacher in several private schools.  He was an active member of St. Mary of the Lake Church and the Plymouth Rockers.

Interment Ft Snelling National Cemetery.
