Lawrence Peter Aubart

Passed away of heart failure surrounded by family. Preceded in death by father; Peter, mother; Lillian (Anderson); brother, Raymond; and sister, Clara. Survived by the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Kathryne (Lemm); his beloved children, Michael (Cathleen), Peter (Karen), Paul, Mary (Steve Schaefer); thirteen cherished grandchildren; many dear in-laws, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and countless treasured friends. Larry was a man of unwavering faith and devoted to the Sacred Heart community in Robbinsdale where he served as trustee, Eucharist Minister, lector, server, and numerous other roles throughout the past 65 years. After leaving the Navy, he attended St. Thomas College. Larry was hired as one of the first computer programmers at Investors Diversified Services (IDS), a job he held and enjoyed for 35 years. He relished travel, especially to North Long Lake (Brainerd, MN) and Ahwatukee AZ, and playing games with those he loved: volleyball with the Study Club, golf with his "cronies", lawn bowling with his Arizona friends, and, most of all, he loved a game of cribbage with anyone that could count to thirty-one. Most importantly, Larry was fiercely devoted to Kathryne and his family for whom he provided for so well. Larry was a most gentle soul, loved by all who knew him. We will miss him dearly. Burial at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Brooklyn Park, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Sacred Heart Church.
