Laurie J. Kienberger

Laurie J. Kienberger, 63, of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully after a heroic battle with cancer on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017.

Laurie enjoyed life as an educator working with adult ESL students in the Osseo Area School District 279.  She also enjoyed writing, travelling and meeting people from different countries.

She is survived by sister, Gwen (Dayton) Carlson; brother, James (Lisa) Amundson; niece Elin.

Laurie was preceded in death by parents, Glen and Marion (Bartholomew) Amundson; aunt, Rev. Mary Jean Bartholomew.

Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society or to Donor's choice.

Visitation one hour prior to the service (12 noon).
