Laura Jean Francis, age 81, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2019, holding hands with her loving husband of 62 years, Jerald.
Laura was a loving mother to three boys--David, Mark and Tim. She stayed home and raised them while Jerry drove truck for many years. After leaving Brainerd for the Twin Cities, Laura got a job with Medicine Lake Bus Company as a Bus Driver. She enjoyed this job and her kids until she retired. Laura enjoyed doing crafts and working on puzzles, many of which were given to her children and grandchildren as gifts.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Marjorie (Hand) Hannahs; sister, Diana Kuehn; brother, Richard Hannahs; son, David.
Laura is survived by husband, Jerald; daughter-in-law, Tita; sons, Mark (Diane) and Tim (Christine). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Vicki (Carl) Starkka; Sharon Smith and Kathy (Noel) Wagner; brothers, Darrell Hannahs, Donald (Beverly) Hannahs and Ira (Marlene) Hannahs; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Jerald Francis family.
