Larry John Ramler
Ramler, Larry J., age 86 of Maple Grove, passed away March 13, 2021 after a year-long battle with cancer. Survived by devoted wife of 56 years, Rita; children Debbie Ramler, Doug Ramler (Peggy), & Roxanne (Mike) Hand, Grandchildren: Ellie, Christina, Alex, & Nick Ramler, Steven, Nicholas & Tyler Hand; sisters Julie Noll, Romelda (Vic) Kascht, & Cora Williams. Predeceased by parents George and Loretta and siblings Sylvia (Leroy), Vern, Roland and Linus. Larry grew up on the family farm in Stearns County, MN. He loved baseball and played town ball in Farming, MN. Larry served in the U.S. Army and was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He enjoyed polka music and relished his German-American heritage. His gregarious nature endeared him to all he met, friend and stranger alike. Larry spent his retirement fishing, gardening and enjoying hundreds of his grandchildren’s sporting events. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday March 22 at the Church of St. Joseph the Worker, 7180 Hemlock Lane, Maple Grove. Visitation at church one hour before service.
