Kerry Lynn Evans

Kerry Lynn Evans was born on January 26, 1952 in Evanston, IL. He passed away on January 13, 2023 in Robbinsdale, MN.

A graduate of Edina High School, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Education from Winona State University. During his career, Kerry taught DAPE for Intermediate District 287 and Robbinsdale Public Schools. He also coached for The Robins adaptive sports teams and was the Assistant Director of Camp Manakiki in Winona for several years.

Kerry is survived by wife, Terry; children, Daniel, Sarah Evans (Steve), Thomas (Jhoanna), Samuel (Kyla), Michael (Katie) and Elizabeth (Gerrit) Garberich; grandchildren, Phoebe, Winnie and Jackson; loving doggy companions, Hannah and Charlie Brown; siblings, Scott, Dana and Jenny (Jim) Greiling; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Marion.

Funeral service 10 AM Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, with visitation one hour before, at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery, Shorewood.

Memorials are preferred to the Hennepin County Animal Humane Society or the American Red Cross.
