Kenneth Kluck

Kenneth H. Kluck, age 89 of Corcoran passed away peacefully on 12/31/2024 surrounded by his family.

Survived by daughters, Lisa (Daryl) Kral, Nancy (Dean) Hansen; son, John (Dana) Kluck; and grandchildren Sara, Lucas & Natalie.

Preceded in death by Leona (Wife); parents Albert & Minnie Kluck; & sister Jeannette Kluck.

Kenny was born on October 7, 1935. He graduated from Rockford High in 1953. He met Leona Thibodeau at Lake Sarah Ballroom in 1953 and later married in 1958 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Corcoran. He enlisted with the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Ord, California until honorably discharged on August 31, 1964. They returned to Minnesota to build their home in 1968 outside Corcoran, where they raised their three kids. Kenny and Leona enjoyed 63 wonderful years of marriage.

Throughout his life, he worked as a diesel mechanic at Whithome, TriState Drilling, and Gary’s Diesel Service until he retired in 2006. He then drove vehicles for US Auto until 2016. 

Kenny enjoyed helping with the Corcoran community through the Lions, the St. Thomas Catholic Church, and the City Council.

His hobbies included farming with his Allis Chalmers tractors, gardening with Leona, fishing, spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, especially euchre, word finds, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. He was passionate about Allis Chalmers, Ford, and polka!

Kenny was one of the most respected, genuine, and kind-hearted person you could ever meet. His honesty and warmth touched everyone around him, and his presence will be deeply missed. We will carry his memory with us always, and he will forever remain in our hearts.

Mass of Christian Burial 11am Saturday, January 11, 2025 at The Church of St. Thomas the Apostle with a visitation one hour prior. 20000 Cty. Rd. 10, Corcoran. Burial and luncheon to follow.
