Kay Parenteau

Longtime resident of Robbinsdale.

Preceded in death by loving husband, Robert (Bob); parents, Fauvette and Lester Rutherford of Hastings, NE; brothers, Milo and Dean; sister, Corinne. May they rest in peace.

Survived by son, Steve (Shelli) of Maple Grove; grandchildren, Mitch and Jocelyn; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Kay had an insatiable love for animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting and dancing with Bob. She saw the good in everyone and was proud of her Nebraska heritage. Kay had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s but was hospitalized due to complications of a Kidney infection. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. God took her before Alzheimer’s did.  Our world will not be the same without her. She will be greatly missed.
