Kathryn A. Johnson

Kathryn Johnson, age 76 formerly of Robbinsdale, passed away on Feb 9, 2017 due to Alzheimer’s Disease.

Kathryn was born on June 10, 1941, and grew up in Preston, MN on the family farm.  She graduated from Preston in 1959. After graduation she attended the University of Hawaii earning a degree in history. She returned to MN and went back to school at Augsburg where she received her teaching license. She married Roger Johnson on April 25, 1964. They had three sons: Matthew, Theodore & Andrew.

She enjoyed living in Robbinsdale with her family, playing bridge (Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League), canning, baking, and gardening. She also worked at Robbinsdale DMV.

She is survived by three sons; Matt (Marcy) Johnson, Ted (Renate) Johnson, Andy (Alicia) Johnson; granddaughter, Tawnya; grandsons, Gray & Finn; sister Patti, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at Elim Lutheran Church, 3978 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale on Friday Feb 16 @ 11am with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Fort Snelling Nat’t Cem.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association .
