Kathlene M. Herrmann

Age 89 of Plymouth died on February 26, 2024.  Kathy was born December 3, 1934 at Woodstock, MN.  She grew up in Southwest Minnesota, however, the Minneapolis area has been home since 1955.  Kathy is survived by loving husband, Bill; children, Barbara (Dave) Mendenhall, Tucson, AZ, Ronald Marcotte, Mpls, MN, Tom Marcotte, Monticello, MN, Susan Marr, West Palm Beach, FL; step-children, Mark Anderson, Oregon, Dave Anderson, Casa Grande, AZ, Gayle (Jim) Stone; Bend, OR; sisters, Sharron Hannaman of Tucson, AZ, Donna Hulm of Jasper, MN, and Linda Merkel of Hutchinson, MN; brothers, Harry (Bernice) Blomgren of Beaver Creek , MN, Jim (Judy) Blomgren of Princeton, MN, Dan (Nancy) Blomgren of Clear Lake, MN and sister-in-law, Diane Blomgren of Coon Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Nicole Marcotte, Angelica Deasis, Erin Oost, James Mendenhall, Chris Marcotte, Jessica Pelton, Kristen Stone, Paige Donaghue, Kyla Anderson and Aaron Marcotte; and great-grandchildren Mayson, Isabell, Oliver, Cole, Adanai, Theo, Jayce, William, Payne, Jonathan, Cayden, Elliott, Luna, Baylee, Ocean and Cody; and a large extended family.  Kathy is preceded in death by parents, Harry and Angie Blomgren of Morris, MN; and brother, Michael Blomgren of Coon Rapids, MN; husband, Howard C. Anderson; father of their children, Dennis Marcotte; brothers-in-law, Bruce Merkel, Don Hannaman, Dick Baatz, Jim Hulm and sons-in-law, Jeffrey Donaghue and Ron Marr.  

Celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at Robbinsdale Parkway United Church of Christ, 4200 Lake Rd., Robbinsdale, MN on Monday (3/25), 11 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM.  Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Feed the Children or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
