Kathleen Bruha

On January 12, 2025, Kathleen Mae Bruha, 91 years, died peacefully at SummerWood of Plymouth Senior Living (Plymouth, MN). She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Pearl Conover and her grandson, Stefan Hoffman. She is survived by her children Charlene (Jerry) Hoffman (Brooklyn Park, MN), Marvin Bruha (Tampa,FL), and Norman (Sandi) Bruha (Castle Rock, CO); her grandchildren, Daniel and Nathan Hoffman, Samantha and Sierra Bruha, and other relatives.

Kathleen was born on February 14, 1933 in Oasis, WI. Her childhood was spent in Almond, WI on her parent's farm. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point earning a BS degree in Consumer Education. In 1956, she married John Bruha and moved to Cedar Falls, IA. Kathleen worked as a teacher's assistant at Peet Jr. High School.

In 1999, Kathleen retired and moved to Holiday Island, AR where she attended Faith Bible Church in Holiday Island, was involved in community organizations and volunteering for many local events. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, walking her dog, playing Bunco, and getting together with friends.

Cremation arrangements were made with Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel. Her ashes will be interred at the Conover family plot at Plainfield Cemetery in Plainfield, WI.
